Former High School Musical starlet Ashley Tisdale reacted on her Twitter to the shocking news. She shared, “So sad. Saying a prayer for Michael Jackson. I have to say, the 6 of us from HSM were very lucky to have met such an amazing man.”
Ashley continued, “I will remember that moment forever. RIP Michael.”

The most important thing to remember going into Ashley Tisdale's sophomore album, Guilty Pleasure, is that the High School Musical star is actually a whopping 23 years old. "Hey, it isn't bad that I look young," she laughs. "I've got good genes, I gotta say." With an exclusive track now available on iTunes -- "Overrated" marks the first of three songs to be released digitally before the July 28th album debut -- she's also hoping she has a good chance at leaving the Disney playpen behind and striking out as a grown-up pop star. "I think this album has a sense of very strong survival in every song, and that's something I'm attracted to," says Tisdale. "I'm a strong person. I'm also very sassy and a little bit angsty sometimes. I try to show a different side of me that people haven’t seen. I think people really see me as Sharpay, from High School Musical, which is great -- but there is a different side of Ashley, and that's really coming across on the album. I am growing up. High School Musical and Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale talked about her new album titled "Guilty Pleasure" Tuesday afternoon in Salt Lake City. Radio station 97.1 ZHT held a luncheon for the singer and actress to showcase her new album and to also answer questions from several fans in attendance. One topic Ashley touched on was how she deals with paparazzi and negative media reports.
"I think you just have to stay true to yourself and don't let negative things get on you," Tisdale said. "Just ignore it and stay positive."
Tisdale also said one new single from her album will be available each week on iTunes.

Ashley Tisdale has been working her butt off over the past few months preparing for the release of her studio album Guilty Pleasure, and her boyfriend Scott Speer knows how to put a smile on her face.
The 27-year-old surprised his brunette lady with flowers at her Los Angeles home before taking her out on an afternoon date.

Ashley Tisdale is not only a patriotic American, she sure knows how to show a man a good time. During a non-U.S. TV appearance, along with what appear to be Spanish-speaking Muppets, the High School Musical vixen proved she's all growed-up, treating a Barack Obama impersonator to a personal lap dance.
As the host points out, it's a good thing she did this for Obama -- and not Bill Clinton.

'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale has revealed she admires girls with curves and would love to have a body like Jessica Alba.
Ashley Tisdale thinks Jessica Alba has the perfect figure. The 'High School Musical' star thinks shapely women are "beautiful" and she would love to have a body like the 'Fantastic Four' star. She said: "I like curves - I think that's more beautiful. I look at Jessica Alba and think she's got a great body. I think that's what women are supposed to look like." Ashley admits she works hard to maintain her enviable figure but doesn't feel guilty about having a treat when she is craving fast food. The 23-year-old star said: "I love French fries and bread, and when I'm on tour I have McDonald's. At home, I like to cook - I love omelettes in the morning. Still, I have started working out, so I do try to limit carbs and add protein. I want to build a little muscle." The actress-and-singer has revealed she loves listening to a host of female pop stars when she is exercising. Ashley explained: "At home, I usually to 30 to 40 minutes on the elliptical. I always work out to music - Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Pink and Katy Perry."
